Refund and cancellation policy

What is being paid for

Reporight sells nothing. Every feature is free to everyone, with or without payment. A donation is a voluntary contribution towards hosting costs, and buys no goods, services, subscription, or support.

Refunds

Because a donation is voluntary and nothing is delivered in exchange, donations are generally non-refundable.

That said, mistakes happen. If you donated by accident, entered the wrong amount, or were charged more than once, write to us within 7 days with the payment reference shown after your donation. Genuine cases are refunded in full — we would rather return the money than keep something you did not mean to give.

How a refund is processed

• Requests are acknowledged within 2 working days.
• Approved refunds are issued through Razorpay within 7 working days.
• The money returns to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may take a further 5–10 working days to show it.
• No fee is deducted from a refunded donation.

Cancellations

Donations are one-off payments. There is no subscription or recurring charge to cancel, and no payment details are stored for future use.

Failed or disputed payments

If money left your account but the site did not confirm the donation, do not pay again. Send us the payment reference and we will check with Razorpay. Failed payments are reversed automatically by your bank, usually within 5–7 working days.
